“Finalsite has seen immense growth over the last several years. We are looking forward to welcoming Dele Shell to the team, providing fresh leadership for the people operations department and entire Finalsite organization. I am excited for her to build upon the many opportunities we’ve created for existing team members, and implement new ways of discovering and attracting talent to join the Finalsite family,” said Finalsite Founder & CEO Jon Moser.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Finalsite family as the chief people officer. The company has a strong reputation as an innovative, collaborative and welcoming organization that I’m so proud to be part of. I can’t wait to get started! I am looking forward to leveraging my experience in the retail, non-profit and manufacturing sectors to continue to build the demonstrated success Finalsite has had,” Shell said.

Shell is a seasoned human resources leader, with a history of success leading people operations for corporations. Prior to joining Finalsite, she was the director of human resources for Hanwha Aerospace, USA. Among her many accomplishments in this role, she successfully redeveloped the company’s new hire onboarding experience, and also designed its succession planning program. Shell previously held the role of senior manager of human resources for HarcoSemco, a large aerospace manufacturing company in Branford, CT with operations in Nogales, Mexico. Additionally, she has held human resources roles with Home Depot and Harbor Freight Tools.

Shell received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and is currently enrolled in Lasell University’s MBA Program. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, she graduated from East Hartford High School where she played volleyball and ran track. Education has always been important to Dele: she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and seeks to mentor and inspire young women, particularly girls of color. She lives in New Britain, CT with her family.

In 2021, Finalsite’s team grew by nearly 40 percent due to sustained organizational growth and the acquisitions of SchoolAdmin and SchoolPointe. Among many new benefits, the company recently introduced a work abroad opportunity for employees and shifted to a virtual/hybrid work environment, allowing employees to choose if they’d like to work remotely or from the office.
