Welcome to the 5.22.42 release of Connect. In this release, the Self-service Forgot Username and Password workflow has been enhanced with additional security measures, such as reCAPTCHA, to make it more secure. Users can now retrieve their username without contacting support, even if their email ID is linked with multiple institutions. Furthermore, they can securely reset their password using their registered email ID.

Self-Service Forgot Username and Password:
 Please follow the steps to retrieve the Forgot Username:

• Click on the "Forgot Username" button and enter the email address associated with your account.
• Complete the "I'm not a robot" verification process and click "Continue."
  • If your email address is associated with only one institution, you will be prompted to answer a secret question. Once you have correctly answered the question, you will receive an email containing your username.
  • If your email address is associated with multiple institutions, you will receive a verification email containing a link that expires within one hour. After clicking the link, you must select your institution from a dropdown list to retrieve your username. Once selected, click "Continue." 
• You will be prompted to answer a secret question. Once you have correctly answered the question, you will receive an email containing your username.

Please follow the steps to reset the Forgot Password:

• Click on the "Forgot Password" button and enter the Username.
• Complete the "I'm not a robot" verification process and click "Continue."
• You will be prompted to answer a secret question. Once answered correctly, an email with a link will be sent to you to reset the password. The link will expire within one hour.
