CMS Software Update: April 8, 2025
L Lamington

We’re excited to bring you another round of improvements in this release, addressing key issues and enhancing your experience with Composer. We have improvements in the Calendar module where deleting the events has gotten better. Previously, deleting events sometimes resulted in a Bad Request error, even though the event was successfully removed. This issue has been resolved, ensuring a seamless deletion process. Users creating or modifying events in the Athletics Manager were unintentionally redirected to the Opponents tab. This has now been fixed, and event management works as expected

In Messages, certain users faced issues while subscribing to a list. This release has fixed it and users should now be able to subscribe to any lists without any issues. Previously, unsubscribing from emails could get stuck, causing frustration. We’ve optimized the process so that users can now unsubscribe without any delays.

Bug Fixes

  • Messages: Ampersands in list names were displaying as HTML entities instead of the "&" symbol. They now render correctly upon creation.
  • Messages: The Unsubscribe page remained in a pending state after users selected their unsubscribe option, even though the request was processed successfully. The process now completes smoothly.
  • Messages: Admin group users with the correct permissions were unable to see associated Messages folders in Resources. These folders now appear as expected.
  • Calendar: Running the roster export displayed a confirmation message stating that the export would be emailed, but no email was sent. Exports are now properly generated and delivered.
  • Calendar: Cloning an event with a duration of less than one hour in the new Calendars module incorrectly extended the end time to a full hour. Cloned events now maintain their original duration.
  • Permissions: Deleting an admin group used for page access caused a blank picker to appear, preventing users from adjusting access settings. Group deletions no longer interfere with access controls.
  • Site Search: Internal site search was not indexing dynamic team details pages correctly, causing them to be missing from search results. These pages are now properly indexed and searchable.
