CMS Software Update: March 18, 2025
L Lamington
Our latest release brings crucial improvements to ensure smoother functionality across multiple areas of our platform. We've resolved a backend health status reporting issue that previously caused inaccurate system status checks, refined Calendar element display options to restore missing customization controls, and improved payment reconciliation in Forms to ensure accurate reporting of transactions under fraud review. These updates enhance both the backend stability and the overall user experience, making it easier for admins to monitor system health, manage calendar alerts, and track payments with confidence.
What’s New
- Messages: We’ve streamlined Recipient Selection permissions by merging redundant options while maintaining existing functionality. Admins will now see a simplified set of choices without any impact on current workflows.
- Calendar: Event descriptions in live calendars will now automatically convert plain text URLs into clickable links, making it easier for users to access subscription links and other important information.
Bug Fixes
- Messages: Fixed issue where attempting to edit a shared Messages element was returning a 404 error.
- Forms: Previously, offline payment types generated excessive empty white space in the software output. This issue has been fixed, ensuring a cleaner and more streamlined display.
- Forms: Payments held for fraud review by Authorize were not appearing in Forms reporting, causing reconciliation issues. This has been fixed, ensuring all transactions are accurately tracked.
- Calendar: In the old calendar style, event titles with long names were overflowing in the calendar grid view instead of wrapping properly within their day box. This issue has been fixed to ensure a clean and readable display.
- Calendar: In the Create New Calendar popup, the fields were unclickable. Now users can seamlessly add calendars/events and manage permissions without interruptions.
- Calendar: On sites using the New Calendar module, the checkbox to Display Alerts and Feed Controls was missing in Calendar Elements, causing the alert bell to always be visible. Alert icons will no longer appear, and the option to enable/disable them has been removed.
