For this St. Patrick’s Day, our bounteous development team is showering us with the gold at the end of the rainbow, also known as several fantastic new features for Forms and Messages.

First up, there are two new ways to send communications through Messages. You’ll be able to send a simple email message without going to the template editor. This feature will use the new “Simple Template,” which you can customize with your organization’s branding (just like the Transactional Template for Forms). Also, we’re introducing the ability to send Important Announcement messages to individual constituents. Simple messages and individual announcements are also covered in more detail in the Knowledge Base.

Finally, we’re adding something huge to Forms: event registration! Over the coming week, we will be starting to release these features to clients with Forms Plus or Registration Manager in their contracts. With the Forms Plus add-on, you can utilize two new fields — RSVP for a simple selection, and Registration for everything else — and take advantage of loads of features for selling tickets and inviting your community to participate. Composer

• It’s now possible to preview internal linked pages on your site before you’ve launched.

Forms

• Planning events in Forms is now easier with the introduction of the Registration and RSVP fields to gather attendance data.

• Attendee information collected with the Registration element is available (and editable!) under the Roster toggle of the Submissions tab.

• The Stats tab shows details about how many tickets have been issued via each Registration element, versus the total ticket limit. 

Messages

• We fixed an issue with the “Copy URL” button in the Messages table so that it no longer activates bulk message selection.

• We fixed an issue with moving lists into folders in the Lists section.

• Simple messages will allow you to compose a quick message in the text editor and send it using a default template, streamlining the process when you don’t need advanced features.

• It will now be possible to select individual constituent(s) to send an Important Announcement message to, instead of only groups. 

Page Pops

• Timed and delayed Page Pops will now work as configured on a page with multiple pops, rather than appearing immediately.

• We fixed an issue with moving Page Pops into folders.
