Leap Year may only come once every four years, but the Software Update Blog comes around every two weeks! (Most of the time.) This time, we’re bringing you some changes to the mobile app, just a preview of more to come in our next update. 

We’ve also got a fix that might disappoint anyone who was hoping to post their thesis on a Composer page: the content editor has now been limited to 20,000 characters. In all seriousness, this change is necessary because copying and pasting images into the editor uses many, many characters and breaks everything it touches. Those images will no longer be allowed in the editor. You can still add images to the content editor in the normal way.

Editor

• Content elements will be limited to 20,000 characters.

Mobile app

• Phone numbers that begin with a + will now display properly. 

• External Resources can now be opened from within the app for iOS users.

• The event detail screen will now show all of the calendars (that are set to display in the app) that the event is attached to.  

• The directory now displays each faculty member's location group in the directory list.

Forms & Registration Managers

• Fixed an issue where the “Select All” control in the Results tab didn’t respect when results were de-selected.
