Software Updates: July 20, 2019
Lauren Lentini

Hello everyone! As we ramp up for back-to-school season (or should we not mention that yet?), we have some exciting new features to tell you about!

With this release, you’ll see some small aesthetic changes to Messages, as well as a big change to the Messages element in Composer: subscriptions! You’ll now be able to use the Messages element to allow users to easily sign up for mailing list subscriptions, without having to go through their profile settings.

Check out the rest of our releases below, including bulk-deleting posts and subscriptions in Posts.

  • You’ll now be able to clear subscriptions from Posts boards in bulk, great news if you want to reuse a board for the next school year.

  • In addition, you can bulk delete Posts from a board!

  • In the Messages tab, you’ll be able to sort by sent date or by Internal Name/Subject.

  • We’re adding the ability for users to subscribe to individual mailing lists through the Messages element. The bell icon you’re sure to recognize from calendars and Posts can be enabled for Messages now, as well.

  • We’ve fixed an issue with Workflows that was causing inaccurate stats to be shown when changes were made to an active workflow.

  • We’ve added a search bar to the Activity tab, so now you can search by constituent and see their progress through the workflow.

iOS/Android App

  • The app directory will now feature the ability to search for constituents by keyword! This feature is only available in the newest version of the app, so users will need to update.

  • You’ll now be able to select both private and public galleries at the same time for the Resources section of the app.

  • Users can now filter by team in the Athletics section of the app, and those settings will be remembered on future visits.

  • Posts belonging to private boards you select in the app settings can now be displayed in the Posts List to users who are logged in, based on the board’s privacy settings.
