Software Updates: March 28, 2020
Lauren Lentini

Finalsite’s Glastonbury headquarters may be shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but our team is still working from home to continue releasing software updates on our regular schedule. We’re also doing our part to bring you communication strategies and resources for this difficult time, so be sure to check out our Coronavirus Communication Strategies for Schools page for webinars and more.

This week’s release includes updates and fixes for Composer, Messages, and the mobile app.

Composer

  • Page Pops and other popup windows on your website can now be closed when you click anywhere outside the box, not just the X icon.

  • Pages that are hidden from navigation will now appear as shaded in the page tree.

Messages

  • Before you can send a message to a list that has any mobile subscribers, it is now required to have content in the Mobile Subscriber Notification section.

  • We’ve also fixed an issue where you couldn’t edit the push notification if the mailing list was changed.

  • On the Activity Log screen, there will now be a filter option, so you can see Sent, Delivered, Opened, and Clicked.

Mobile app

  • Some confusion was caused by always linking an event location to Google directions, so you’ll now have the option to enable or disable linking for all event locations within the app settings.
