The Greatest Asset:
finalsite University 2011
"I am so so impressed by the desire to learn and the effort our customers made coming to Avon Old Farms again this year. The feedback that we have received to date has been invaluable and uplifting to our team at finalsite.”
I'm listening to the summer rain here in Connecticut and reflecting on our recent finalsite University. Our eighth annual user conference, held at Avon Old Farms School in Avon, CT, attracted 320 attendees from 147 schools in 32 states and 8 countries. Rain showers and a bear sighting not withstanding, this year’s event was another resounding success for many reasons, among them:
We heard how technology needs vision and strategy, not simply blind adoption, from TABS Executive Director and finalsite U keynote speaker Pete Upham.
We took a fresh look at sustainability, demographics, and technology as game-changers for schools as shared by NAIS President and conference keynote speaker Pat Bassett.
We heard case studies, best practices, and tips and tricks in over 70 breakout sessions.
But these are only half of the story.
You see, finalsite University is more than education. It’s a connection between you, our clients, and our finalsite employees. At the Help Center, in sessions, at meals, wherever, team members were enthusiastically ready and willing to help clients achieve their web goals or solve their web challenges. Then and now, our team truly wants to make your web presence the best it can be. As one conference participant commented, finalsite’s employees are indeed the company’s “greatest asset.” I would like to thank all the finalsite employees for their efforts over the past months getting ready for this event.
That said, we measure our success by yours. During finalsite U, your well-researched presentations, enthusiastic participation, and eagerness to learn made the conference what it was. Whether you were able to join us at the conference or not this year, we at finalsite value your partnership long-term. On behalf of the entire finalsite team, thank you for another successful conference and for your continued support. May your summer be stress-free and bear-free!
