Sample Schedules

One Day Admin Training

On-site Training: Full-day training schedule. Half day repeated once in the morning and once in the afternoon to limit lost time for those involved. This schedule type is often used with school districts that have many admins who manage individual sites.


9:00 am - 9:45 am: Composer Foundations
Starting from the ground up, we will tour Composer features and how to navigate around the platform. Next, we will work on how to build out an interior page with layouts, content, images, etc. 


9:45 am - 10:30 am: Posts
The Posts module allows you to make everything from quick-and-easy news or blog pages to creative features for your website. Starting with the basic news page, we will explore different options that might fit in your new site.


10:30 am - 10:45 am: Break


10:45 am - 11:30 am: Resources
Resources is how we manage images, documents, and videos -- all in one place. We will discuss best practices for utilizing Resources and Resource elements. We will also talk about how Resources works with Posts.


11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Calendars
We will offer an overview of Calendar Manager and how to get the most out of the module. 


12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Lunch


1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Messages
In this session we will work on constructing amazing emails to elegantly display all of your content on whatever device your constituents are using. 


2:00 pm - 2:15 pm: Break


2:15 pm - 3:00 pm: Admin Users or Module of Choice
We will go through the process of setting up admin users for the school and how to control and check their permissions.


3:00 pm - 3:45 pm: Athletics or Module of Choice or Q&A
Athletics Manager is a one-stop-shop for keeping all of the teams, rosters, and game information organized and all in the same place. 

Two Day Admin Training (Option #1)

Two full days of training. The first day focuses on training the core “Power Users” with full access to the site who would be helping others. The second day caters to the additional admins who may only be controlling small sections or individual schools. 


Day 1

Forms allow you to collect small amounts of information, register people, keep track of events, and gather data about your constituents. It is a multi-tool that can help in a variety of areas.


2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Module of Choice
Is there a different module your school or organization could use or wants to know more about? Let us know and we’ll work it in! Just looking for a Q&A session? We can do that, too!


Day 2


This set of sessions is for the additional admins who really only need basics to get them up and running. This can be repeated twice in one day to cater to more schedules.

Two Day Admin Training (Option 2)

This is a two-day training where you train your core admins for both days. The second day could be used to delve more into specific modules, such as Messages, or specific uses of Posts. This can also be hands-on, one-on-one time with the trainer as the admins work on parts of the site they are building. 


Day 1
9:00 am -10:30 am: Composer Basics

We will start the day with basics about your website and how to access all the features in Composer. Then we will follow up with creating new pages, adding elements, and creating linked pages. 


10:30 am - 10:45 am: Break


10:45 am - 12:00 pm: Resources
Resources is how we manage images, documents, and videos -- all in one place. We will discuss best practices for utilizing Resources and Resource elements. We will also talk about how Resources works with Posts.


12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Lunch
