Red leads our team of organic online search and ads experts. With a long history in independent schools — alum, former teacher, dorm parent, coach, and current parent — his passion for helping you is rooted deep in his own experiences. Alongside his degree in engineering and a master’s in school leadership, it’s easy to see why clients say Red “gets them” when discussing marketing strategy!

Pat Bassett

Pat Bassett became the president of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) in August 2001. Bassett began his career in independent schools in 1970 as an English teacher, lacrosse coach, and dorm parent at Woodberry Forest School. In 1980, he became headmaster of an all-girls school, Stuart Hall, where he remained until 1989, when he was appointed head of school at Pomfret School.

Courtney Portlock

Courtney is the Director of the National Center for Girls’ Leadership at Stuart Country Day School in Princeton, NJ. She serves on the planning committee for the #LEADLIKEAGIRL Conference. Before transitioning full-time to the role of director of the National Center for Girls’ Leadership, she served as the Upper School Division Head for two years, and the Assistant Head of Upper School for three years. 

Jon Moser

Jon Moser founded Finalsite close to 20 years ago and is passionate about EdTech and digital engagement. He's sought-after as a speaker at conferences world-wide and is a widely respected thought leader and author.

Rob Dimartino

Finalsite founding member and Chief Evangelist, Rob brings over 20 years of experience working with the internet in the education space. Rob is a thought leader and global speaker on digital strategy, marketing, communications, s and digital engagement. Rob brings experience, trends, and real world “takeaways” to audiences about maximizing technology to increase efficiencies in the independent school environment.

Mia Major

As Finalsite's Content Marketing Manager, Mia oversees organic and paid inbound and content strategies. With 12 years experience in social media marketing, 7 years experience in inbound marketing and 6 years experience in school marketing, Mia brings a wealth of experience in digital strategy. She has written numerous blogs, eBooks, whitepapers and reports on everything from lead gen strategy to social media marketing. 

Angelo Otterbein

Angelo graduated valedictorian from St. Paul's School in Baltimore, MD and from Princeton University. Despite getting his degree in creative writing and English Literature, it generally takes some doing to keep him from programming and breaking websites. Just after graduating, he started Silverpoint, and grew it to over 300 schools worldwide before merging with Finalsite in 2013.

Alex Wack

Alex Wack joined Finalsite in 2009 and has spent the last 10 years, developing, managing, and presenting on new Finalsite products. Following Composer’s launch in 2014, Alex has also overseen the releases of Finalsite Feeds, Resources and the upcoming Mobile App.

Chelsea Janke

As Director of Client & School Services at CEL Marketing PR Design and #boymom of two, Chelsea is a school advocate and self-proclaimed digital search extraordinaire! She is always on-the-go working on #marketing and #strategies for #schoolPR! She is respected within the field for helping schools tell their story and interact with stakeholders by using effective communication tools and technology.

Mia Johnstone

Mia Johnstone has over 13 years of experience as a professional photographer and marketing strategist for private schools. Her work has included creating branded photo shoots and marketing materials in alignment with each school's values. Mia also published the LA Private School Guide, a magazine that profiled private schools in Los Angeles and she worked with dozens of schools to promote their message.

Tye Campbell

Tye Campbell is the Director of Technology at Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from St. Paul’s School (NH), Tye spent the first decade of his career in corporate IT, learning and implementing best practices, as well as improving productivity through conducting end-user training. In 2013, he left the corporate world to serve as the Director of Technology at Far Hills Country Day School (NJ). In addition to his role at Gilman, Tye serves on the board of ATLIS (Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools) and presents at national conferences on various topics, including: education technology, cybersecurity, and school data management. 

Meredith Josef

Meredith is the Director of Communications at Landon School in Bethesda, MD – a school for boys in grades 3-12 located in the suburbs of Washington, DC. From developing a marketing plan to writing the weekly newsletter or helping a colleague with a social media post, Meredith has, like many of her counterparts, handled both big picture projects and little everyday tasks to tell the story and promote the value of the Landon experience. Meredith has also worked as a sports anchor, congressional aide, and executive speechwriter.
