Blackbaud is one of Finalsite's preferred student information systems, and in addition to Finalsite’s integration with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Finalsite and Blackbaud have partnered to offer an integration with Blackbaud’s Education Management System. 

Finalsite’s integration with Blackbaud’s Enrollment Management software sources candidate information, including status, and relationships, to facilitate using Finalsite’s marketing and communication tools to nurture families through the admissions process. This integration replaces manual datasheet uploads, saving schools time and enhancing the accuracy and timeliness
of your data in Finalsite.

Data flows from Blackbaud’s education management portfolio into Finalsite, ensuring that contact lists and online directories always have up-to-date information.

WHAT DATA GETS SHARED

User Data can pull information for nearly any role.

Athletics Data sync means admins can populate and update team events, rosters and coaches in Finalsite Athletics Manager based on Blackbaud’s Education Management Portfolio data.

Calendar Data is filtered through an iCal feed that can be used for receiving and sending calendar data to and from Finalsite.

Admissions Data that can be used with Finalsite’s Messages and Workflows modules.

HOW THE INTEGRATION WORKS

• Automatic data transfers run hourly to refresh constituent information from Blackbaud’s Portfolio in Finalsite, with a full data refresh each night.

• All connections take place over a secure SSL connection, while an Intrusion Protection System continually scans incoming traffic for malicious activity, keeping constituent data safe.

• Users will be able to authenticate into Finalsite via Blackbaud’s education management portfolio.
